I thought you might like some of these prints as a download as they make a lovely gift when printed and framed.
Before we get to the free downloads, here are the steps to create your own floral art if you want to make your own words. This is a great project if you have a bouquet you want to remember, but don't want to have a half dead bunch of flowers hanging around!
Choose flowers in a variety of colours and petal shapes. Make sure you pick some green too as this helps add depth and texture to your image.
Lay your first flowers out to loosely on a white background to form the shape of the word you want to make.
Make sure your white background is clean as this will reduce time when you are processing the images.
Slowly build your word up with the different petals and colours.
Once you are happy with your word, use your phone or camera to take a picture of your image.
Tip: Take the photo from a good distance away as this will ensure you can play around with the sizes of the images for printing.
Install the Radlab plugin and play around with the gorgeous filters until you are happy with the colours you create.
There are so many pretty filters to choose from! My favourite filters are "Flora" (the pink print below) and "Punch Out" (the clean, white print below).
I use Radlab to edit all my images for the blog and it seriously cuts down the time it takes for photo editing.
